1. Made-To-Measure Nature of Orders

All garments produced by Bangkok Leather Atelier are made-to-measure and individually crafted to the specific measurements, design choices, and leather selections confirmed by the client at the time of order. Because each garment is produced exclusively for the commissioning client and cannot be resold, all sales are final once production has commenced.

2. Deposits, Payment, and Currency

A deposit is required to confirm all orders. The deposit amount will be communicated during your consultation. The remaining balance is due prior to dispatch or collection. In some cases, full payment in advance may be required; this will be confirmed at the time of order.

• Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced.
• Full payment is required before garments are dispatched or handed over.
• All prices and invoices are issued in Thai Baht (THB). Any quotations provided in other currencies are for reference only and are estimates based on prevailing exchange rates at the time of quotation. Bangkok Leather Atelier is not responsible for any differences arising from currency fluctuations.
• Where a payment processor offers the client the option to settle in their own currency, this is entirely at the client's discretion and risk. Any additional charges, conversion fees, or exchange rate differences are the client's responsibility.
• Quoted prices are valid for 14 days from the date of quotation.

3. Measurements and Fit

Achieving an accurate fit depends on the measurements provided by the client and their availability for fittings where applicable. The client is responsible for ensuring that all measurements submitted are correct and current at the time of order confirmation.

Where in-person fittings are available, clients are encouraged to attend as many fitting stages as possible. We understand that schedules do not always permit multiple visits, and we will always do our best to achieve the correct fit with the time available. However, Bangkok Leather Atelier cannot be held responsible for fit outcomes where the client was unable to attend scheduled fittings or chose to proceed without them. For international and remote orders, minor final adjustments with a local tailor may occasionally be required after delivery and are at the client's expense.

4. Material and Leather Selection

The leather type, colour, and finish are confirmed during the consultation and agreed by the client before production begins. Physical samples are made available for review during in-person consultations where possible. For remote clients, photographs are provided as standard; video samples can be requested prior to confirming a selection in order to better assess texture and finish.

Natural leather is an organic material and may exhibit natural variations in grain, texture, tone, and character. These are inherent properties of genuine leather and are not considered defects.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled before production commences. The deposit will not be refunded.
• Once production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
• Completed garments are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, as each piece is produced specifically for the commissioning client.

Refunds will only be considered in the exceptional circumstance that Bangkok Leather Atelier has materially failed to produce the garment as agreed and confirmed at the time of order. Design changes requested by the client after production has commenced, or fit concerns raised at an interim fitting stage where final adjustments are yet to be completed, do not constitute grounds for a refund. We ask all clients to allow the production process to be completed before raising concerns about fit or finish, and to communicate any concerns to us directly so we can address them.

6. Production Timelines

Estimated production timelines are provided during consultation and are given in good faith. Bangkok Leather Atelier will make every effort to meet agreed timelines but cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. Delays caused by material sourcing, customs, courier services, or other circumstances beyond our control do not entitle the client to cancel their order or claim a refund.

7. International Shipping

Bangkok Leather Atelier ships internationally. Where DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping is arranged, import duties and taxes are included in the shipping arrangement for most destinations. Specific customs regulations vary by country and Bangkok Leather Atelier cannot guarantee duty-free entry in all cases. The client accepts responsibility for any customs duties or taxes not covered by the DDP arrangement.

• Risk of loss passes to the client upon handover to the courier.
• Any damage or loss in transit must be reported to Bangkok Leather Atelier promptly. We will liaise with our shipping partner to assist where possible; in some cases, clients may be asked to contact the courier directly.
• If a delivery address changes after an order has been dispatched, the client must notify Bangkok Leather Atelier immediately. We cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect or unattended address where the client failed to communicate a change in advance.
• Tracking details will be provided once a garment has been dispatched.

8. Alterations After Delivery

Bangkok-based clients are welcome to contact us within one month of receiving their garment to arrange alterations if needed. Please give us advance notice so we can schedule your visit appropriately. We genuinely want every client to be delighted with their garment and will always do our best to ensure a perfect result.

International clients who were not able to attend in-person fittings are encouraged to seek a local leather specialist for any minor adjustments after delivery. As fittings are an integral part of the bespoke process, Bangkok Leather Atelier does not cover the cost of third-party alterations.

9. Payment Disputes

If you have any concerns about your order or garment, we genuinely encourage you to contact us directly at info@bangkokleatheratelier.com before initiating any dispute or chargeback with your payment provider. We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and promptly, and we ask for the opportunity to do so first.

10. Photography

Bangkok Leather Atelier may photograph completed garments for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you prefer that your garment not be photographed, please inform us in writing before production commences.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Thai law shall take precedence in all matters relating to these terms. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
